Najas Anacharis (Egeria Najas) is legal in every state except California. Egeria Najas is a pretty bright green and grows the same as Elodea Densa, although not as hardy. It is a fast growing submerged pond plant that competes with algae for nutrients, helping keep the water clean and clear. We recommend you choose Anacharis Najas over Anacharis Elodea Densa if you live in AL, CT, CO, ID, IN, IL, MA, ME, MI, MS, NE, NH, NY, OH, OR, PR, SC, VT, WA, WI. California residents please choose other submerged plants such as Hornwort (which is an allelopathic algae retardant), Red Ludwigia, or Mermaid.
